Crazy For Wool

An informative, 1 hour lecture on how and why wool will be your next addiction and how to treat it.  It will include the pros and cons of thrift shop hunting for wool, and the process needed to treat this wool. I will discuss the advantages of working with wool and some of my favorite wool techniques and tools. We will also discuss the felting and dyeing process and how to use that wool in your next quilt project. I will bring lots of finished samples, wool patterns, and kits.  There will be lots of time for Q&A.

Class and Lecture Prices

1 hour lectures with trunk show    $450.00

1 day (6 hour) workshop              $675.00

Maximum of 20 students per workshop.

I limit the number of students in my classes so that I can spend time with each student on an individual basis. In certain situations, it is possible to have more students, but this limits the one on one time with each pupil.

Other Expenses including travel, meals, and lodging are listed in my contract.

Prices are locked in once a contract is signed.

I currently require a minimum of two teaching days in conjunction with a presentation (combination slide and quilt trunk show).

Neighboring groups or guilds routinely share travel expenses by hiring me to teach for more than one event/organization in a geographic region. This system is beneficial to all parties, resulting in lower transportation costs for the sponsoring events, and fewer travel days for me.
